Friend of Rachel!

Some of you guys remember my blog a while ago about Rachel Scott's story and amazing outlook on life. During the assembly a while ago, they vaguely mentioned how schools were putting together groups to help support Rachel's thoughts, and influence good decisions.
Unexpectedly, today in Spanish, the intercom went off and the started naming kids to report to the cafeteria. Usually we all zone out since we're in an honors class and we know no one ever does anything bad. After three names my name is called, and everyone gasps so I stand up and begin to head down.
Then my name is followed by Hannah's, the class genius and goody-two-shoes, and I breathe a sigh of relief that I know I did nothing wrong. I wait as a couple of my other friends get called down and we're all excited and nervous while we walk down.
We get there and the guidance counselor is taking attendance, and after all the names are called she begins the "reason why you're here" speech. Apparently, our school has decided to start an anti-bullying group that will accept Rachel's Challenge. The group of 24 kids that were there had been recommended by many teachers and were selected out of the school's 400 7th graders! And I'm one of them!
I'm so excited I'll be able to give back to my school and hopefully make a difference. And we get to remain in teh group until 8th grade! I'm so ecstatic!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Depends. Do you want me to come back soon and get beaten with my laptop by my dad or come back when I'm 18 and moved out and NOT get beaten? Your choice.

  30. Every single forum or just the ones you were on?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Actually, I think just the Alphabetical Uglacy and the General Froum, but I'm not taking any chances.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh, do you still read the updates and stuff?
I have other forums now too, like a writing competition I made. And I joined a magazine and a modeling competition, if you joined those I bet he wouldn't even bother to look since I wasn't the creator of the forums...

    ReplyDelete
  33. No, I don't read the forums. I'd rather not risk it.
Writing competition? Aww, wish I could join. :(
Again, I'm not taking any chances. Sure, I'd love to chat on the forums, but I've been told not to and I won't.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Aww, that stinks. :(
Yeah, the writing competition is based off of simselfs, you can check it out if you want:

  35. Sounds wicked cool! :)
I was actually going to start up a story starring my simself, but I realized I didn't really have a plot. Well, I did, but the game didn't provide all the elememts I needed to make the story understandable.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks. :)
You know, I just realized: If we had met at least once, even for five minutes, my dad would have totally accepted this. :(

    ReplyDelete
  37. I know, it really stinks. :(
It's annoying to me that he thinks I'm some sort of freak, but I completely understand where he's coming from.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hmmm...well, we COULD meet F2F and then he could accept this, or we could keep doing what we're doing now. Any other ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmmm....I got nothing. Guess we'll never be excepted. :(
On that happy note, have you had any dreams recently?

    ReplyDelete
  40. No, I never dream. :P
    How about you?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Still no? Aww, dude, you got it bad.
Lately, I've been having dreams about guys from TV shows fighting over me. Last night it was Zack vs. Cody from Suite Life. I actually ended up with Zack, to my surprise.
Soooo, since I got a LOT of catching up to do, got a girlfriend yet? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nope, still single and ready to mingle!
All though two fo my closest friends have crushes on me, so that's pretty awkward...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Ah. Well, I applaud you for being truthful.
I can imagine that might be awkward. Do you return their feelings?
God, I sound like a therapist.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Nah, I sorta like these two girls in my class but they're either going out with someone or it's obvious about who they like.
So what's up with you? Any boys?

    ReplyDelete
  45. You want the truth or do you want what you want to hear?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Truth please. :)
Lieing is a no no. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Alrighty then. There is one guy, but he's like my best friend ever and I'm scared that if I tell him how I feel he'll reject me. Sucks to be us, huh? :/

    ReplyDelete
  48. Aww, that stinks!
Has he dropped any hints, or anything?

    ReplyDelete
  49. I kind of get the feeling he does, but sometimes he flirts with other girls right in front of me. Mixed signals.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yeah. But, we have a great friendship so I enjoy that. :)
Soooo...any girls you like? Details please! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  51. I told you I like two kinda, Megan and Moira. Kinda...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Kinda? Well, don't you sound commited.
Why do you 'kinda' like them?

    ReplyDelete
  53. They're cute, smart, nice. I dunno. It's just weird because one of them is dating someone and it's obvious who the other likes...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hmm. Well, you know what I think? I think they're blind if they can't see you wanting them. If I were them, I'd dump whatever guy I was pursuing and date you. You're funny, smart, and cute, just like them, and any girl in the world would be lucky to have you. If they don't realize that, it's their loss.
Heh. You know, I just realized something.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Aww, thanks Sarah. <3
    And what did you realize?

    ReplyDelete
  56. No prob.
You know how I love quizzes? Well, I took a love one and it said for my result, "The guy you end up with will complement you to a T-and vice versa! In situations when you're stressed, he'll keep you calm. But when he needs a kick in the pants to get motivated, you'll be the one right there, amping up by being his biggest cheerleader." Does that sound familiar?
