Mayhem...

So my laptop crashed yesterday, and turned out to be a virus. Today I have to bring it in to Best Buy to get my entire hard drive wiped. Which means losing all of my Sims stuff. I saved all of my Saves and Mods to a flashdrive, so I hope it works. I might be missing for a little bit, and that'll be either because my computer's in the shop, or beacuse I'm trying to get everything re-installed. Thanks for understanding.

More Changes!

So I've decided to cancel yet another story, I Disagree. Since I'll be starting a full time Life As We See It, I don't really want to be doing a side story version, too. Also, I've downloaded a new default skin, so all of my Sims in my stories may look a little different to you, but I promise they're the same!

Reinventing Myself!

Well, I'm reinventing myself as a simmer you guys. I've decided to cancel My Alphabetical Uglacy (more info about that on the forum) and start a new story in its place. The blog is up and running, and can be found here! I hope you guys stand by my decision! I'm so sorry!

The Melting Pot Introduction

The Melting Pot: Introduction A Pastel Rainbowcy

I glanced at the description and address of the house from the newspaper clipping and then up at the house. "At least it's blue," I thought. It could've been worse, a bright pink or flashy yellow. Right after I saw the Roomate Wanted ad in the paper for a beach front home in Sugar Valley I called up, generously sharing my information. Bright and early the next morning they responded, saying they were eager to have me as an addition to their household. Now here I am, that afternoon, working up the courage to ring the doorbell... Yup.

Nervously, I rubbed my neck. I used to be such a straight forward, confident kid, but after the accident my personality altered. Deep down I was still the party loving, rebellious guy, but now I appeared to be such a softie. A month ago I was having a party at my place, a graduation party. The folks were out of town and we had all the booze and girls we could ever dream of. See, that was the issue. A couple kids left the party early to go back to their date's house and get busy, but some were too drunk. My best friend, Merlot, and his gal, Misty, were headed back to his place when they collided with a car. My parents' car. Both of my parents were killed on impact, as was Merlot, but Misty managed to make it out with severe injuries. I was lost without my parents, and I felt responsible for their deaths, so moving to Sugar Valley provided the perfect fresh start.

"You can do this," I reassured myself, strutting up to the glass door. I shakily extended my hand, lightly tapping the doorbell. A piercing chime sounded throughout the home.

"What do you want? I was in the middle of my speech rehearsal and you-" The woman came to an abrupt stop when she finally looked at who was at the door. "Oh, pardon me. You must be Moonshine!" She extended her hand which I hesitently shook, failing to make eye contact. Gah, why couldn't I just be a man? "I'm Amythest, but please, call me Amy. Everyone does! Come on in, you can meet our other roommate." I stepped inside, immediately scoping the place out as she hollered, "Zircon!"

A shirtless man about my age emerged from a room down the hallway and jogged towards me and Amy. "Hi, I'm-"
"Gay. He's gay." Amy quickly interrupted, flashing a fake smile in his direction.
"No, I'm not- Well, I mean, I am gay. I like guys and all that stuff. But my name's not Gay, it's Zircon. My name's Zircon." I watched as he attempted to introduce himself, unable to find the right words without automatically correcting himself. I smiled politely at him, which silenced him into an embarassing state.

"So your room's right down this hallway to the left. We didn't decorate much, considering we didn't know what you liked. But feel free to get yourself situated! If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of us." Amy briefly looked at Zircon before adding, "Or, you know, just me."

After expressing a few words of gratitude, I hurried down to my room. Wow. It was just as boring as me... White, no color whatsoever. Literally, only a bed and my piano (the only thing I had delivered!) sat in the decent sized bedroom. Well it's better than nothing, I suppose.

I crept out into the hallway, making sure not to disturb Amy or Zircon with whatever they were doing. Amy was on her cell phone talking to who I assumed was a friend. "Yeah, he's so cute! He just got here, not even five minutes ago! Really! You should come over and meet him. I know-" Realizing what I walked in on, I slammed my bedroom door, imitating as if I had just walked out. "I'll call you back. Bye."

"Moonshine, come take a seat! Let's talk, get to know each other!" I followed her into the modern living room where we sat adjacent to one another. "So I was just on the phone with one of my girfriends, Lilac. I know she'd love to meet you."
"Oh, really?" I answered, rather pleased with my response.

"Yeah! So I was wondering, how about we throw some sort of welcome party for you? I promise it won't be anything big. Just a few of my close friends from around town, I'm sure you'll love them. So what do you say?"
Her puppy dog eyes were too much to resist, "I say it sounds like a plan."
"Great!" She squealed, whipping out her cell phone.

Fresh Month, Fresh Story!

So I've decided to stop my Rainbowcy "It's Raining Color" and replace it with a more practical Rainbowcy. Not sure when it'll be up, but I'm excited! :D
Oh, and happy July everyone! ^.^
