Back to School!

School actually didn't go all that bad today. Pretty much nothing's changed... It was fun to see people again though!
There were a few disapointments, though:
1.) I have gym first quarter. I'm horrible at any type of sports and just fail at being athletic, so naturally...
I. Hate. Gym. >.<
Thank God it's only for a quarter...
2.) My English teacher (who I abosolutely loved... not in a creeper way!) left, and I have a different teacher for English. And I can't stand her already! She talks to us like we're worthless and that we're wasting her time... This really sucks because I really love English, and I'm even considering becoming an author when I'm older...

And by the way, just so you don't think I'm crazy, at my middle school we loop. Which means we have the same teachers for 7th and 8th grade, so that's why I'm sad my English teacher left. Well I'll talk to you all soon! See you! :)

School... D:

I can't believe tomorrow's already my first day back at school...
It's depressing, really. ;D
Ah well, I had a great summer, so I suppose it was only time. I hope you all had/have a great summer and start the school year off right!

Hurricane... O.O

I'm currently sitting through a hurricane right now... It's raining pretty heavy and it's pretty windy. Just thought I should let you know.
Also, school's starting up again for me soon! The 31st to be exact! So I may not be on the computer and forums as much, just so you guys don't think I disappeared.
And don't worry, I didn't forget about this blog. I'm halway through with taking the picturess for an update of Your Word Is Law. Talk to you guys soon, and stay safe! <3

Yet Another One...

I've decided to stop yet another one of my stories on here... Acceptance. I know I've been doing this a lot lately, I'm just trying to focus on the stories that I truly love to write for you guys!

Magazines!

Some of you may remember how I was a part of Spotlight Magazine. After eight months of waiting for the first issue to be released, I've finally given up. I've stepped down from my position there, but I have joined another magazine! Last Word Magazine, actually. I'm having a lot of fun with it so far, and I can't wait to see how it goes!

Who Crax First? Chapter 3

Who Crax First?: Chapter 3 A Double Legacy

With a rambunctious toddler on our hands, things weren't getting any easier around the house. Not that we mind taking care of Cameron, Dude and I are just missing our "us" time. If you know what I mean...
Lately, we've been working on teaching Cameron his life skills such as walking, talking, and using the kids' potty. Thinks couldn't be going anymore smoothly, that I'm grateful for.

Nina walked in on her sister in our bathroom the other day, and she told me quite an interesting story.
"What's wrong with you?" Nina scowled. Dina failed to answer, since she was still reliving her breakfast from that morning.

"Well!?" Nina prodded.
"Nina, I think I might be... pregnant," Dina explained.
"Pregnant?! With who?"
"Damion."

"You're pregnant with my my husband's child?!" Nina raged.
"He's your ex-husband," Dina clarified.
"And you're my sister!"
"So?"
"That's just wrong!"
"Like I care! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a father to tell."

Sure enough, after buying some maternity wear, Dina delivered Damion the news. I just so happened to overhear a bit of the conversation...
"Look Damion, I know you're going to hate this, but I'm pregnant," she admitted.
"Oh God. Another one?!" Damion complained.
Ugh, how my brother annoys me! I would've stayed around for the rest of the conversation, but Cameron was being a little fussy that morning.

That evening, Damion and Dina gathered the household into the living room for an urgent meeting. Nina and I figured we knew what they were going to announce, but we refrained from telling Dude, just in case Dina was wrong.
"Well guys, I'm not too sure how to say this, so, go ahead, tell them, Sweeie," Damion gestured, draping his arm across Dina's shoulders.
"Well, for starters, I'm pregnant. Secondly, I'm moving in. And finally, Damion asked me to marry him! Of course, I said yes!" Dina spilled.

Nina's eyes shot towards me, her eyes were like daggers. I can't blame her, my brother was being a complete idiot. But that was typical Damion, knock a girl up, ask her to marry you, have the baby, kick 'um to the curb. I looked down, ashamed of my own brother. Dude shifted awkwardly.
The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

If Dina hadn't told us about her pregnancy, I think we all would've eventually found out within days. She had severe back aches and was constantly complaining about them. She was also trying to spend more time with Jake and Cameron, which neither Nina or I really approved of.

Nina's life was practically resembling a living hell at this point, and I felt awful for her. People were blaming her for Damion and Dina's get together, and the fact that she was now carrying his child. Not to mention there was already the disrespect from her and Damion's divorce on top of it all. Everyone was booing her, even the paper boy, making it nearly impossible for her to leave the house.

Since Dina and Damion were officially an item now, we had to add yet another extension to the house. On the second floor, we built a small bedroom for the new couple to share.

I wasn't really too sure how to approach Dina. After all, she was carrying my nice/nephew and was my future sister-in-law. But yet again, she had really hurt Nina, and me, for that matter.
Oh well, I guess I'll just get used to awkward meal time chit chat...

Cameron was learning at an abnormally quick rate, so we thought. Nina assured us that it was normal for a child of his type to catch on so fast. I wasn't really sure what she was referring to, but I just decided to trust her and push aside the questions.

Dina's stomach was growing rapidly by the day! And I hate to admit it, but her pregnancy gave her a wonderful glow. She also seemed to be excited about having a child, which I was amazed by. She never came across as the mother type to me, but I suppose you can't judge a book by its cover.

The next day was Jake's 6th birthday, and the house was abuzz with excitement. Nina had the honors of bringing her son to the cake, and Damion was right nearby cheering the little fellow on. It's probably the closest I've seen their little family in years...

I thought my nephew was adorable before, but look at him now! Jake grew up to be the cutest little guy I've ever seen. He definitely takes after his father. Let's just hope he has his mother's personality...

I was a little nervous with the adult like way Nina remodeled Jake's room for his present, but she said he insisted it should be done this way. As long as he stays in touch with his inner child, I have nothing to complain about!

Up and Running!

Yes! My laptop is finally back up and working again! Literally, all of my saves are exactly how they were before my harddrive was wiped. Woo! But before I could do any celebrating, I had to take care of a few modeling competition photos. So here they are, enjoy 'um!

Ugh... -__-

So I'm back home from one of my vacations and I have my laptop back. My clean laptop. With literally nothing on it. They had to wipe it clean.
Sigh...
I'm installing everything right now, and it's going to take me a while to get everything sorted out.
Please work with me here. I'm sorry.
